- NIA was founded in July, registered with the NJ Dept. of Treasury
- Established the "Community Clean Sweep," encouraging residents to clean the streets once a month as a community
- NIA was officially made a Non-Profit Corporation in September
- Collected the majority of Trenton property owner signatures to instate alternate street sweepings

- Created a Neighborhood Watch Program recognized by the City of Trenton in February
- Advocated for the Division of Traffic to brighten the street lamps, which was achieved in April

- Created community gardens in two lots
- Advocated for 25mph speed limit signs for the communities' safety and successfully installed new, brighter street lights in residential areas in January
- NIA was established as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit – Tax Exempt Organization in March
- Collaboratively planted 17 trees to beautify the 200-300 block of Rutherford Avenue in May

- Advocated for resident permit parking, which was approved in March
- Spearheaded a meeting with Capital Health Systems and Mercer Campus, including planners and city officials, to produce a Comprehensive Redevelopment Plan for the redevelopment of the Rutherford Ave. area

- Hosted Trenton's first annual two-day Harvest Festival
- Implemented the "UnLitter Us Campaign," after the Community Pride Walk, in four phases from July to October
- Awarded "2011 Project of the Year" from the Trenton Council of Civic Associations (TCCA)

- Achieved a CHDO (Community Housing Development Organization) certification from the City of Trenton in February
- Partnered with the Department of Environmental Protection for the "Don't Waste Our Open Space" campaign in December

- Initiated meetings with the City of Trenton and Department of Environmental Protection to alleviate the city's illegal dumping issues in March
- Led a "Block Beautification" day on July 10th for the neighborhood around the 200-300 block of Rutherford Avenue
- Collaborated with a group of local civic organizations to produce a campaign "Don't Waste Our Urban Space"

- Continued the ongoing Illegal Dumping Campaign with the assistance of Bonner students from TCNJ and Rider - Successfully cleaned up over 15 sites around the city

- Officially partnered with the City of Trenton, Panasia Estates (the owner of the Mercer hospital site-now vacant), and Clarke Caton Hintz (contractors and architects) to produce the Redevelopment Project in the Bellevue/Rutherford area
